How is Rapid Transformational Therapy different to Hypnotherapy?
Rapid Transformational Therapy consists of:
i) Hypnotic induction, suggestibility test, deepening relaxation
ii) Detective work to locate memories that are the root, reason & cause of the issue, interpret the memories, use of tools for interrupting and releasing negative emotions and beliefs
iii) Installing new beliefs (transformation recording to listen to for 21 days)
Hypnotherapy consists of:
1) Hypnotic induction, deepening relaxation
2) Installing new beliefs

Will I be asleep?
During i) and ii) above, you will be an active participant in the investigative work as well as during the interruption and releasing of negative emotions. During iii) you will be able to relax completely and make vibrant positive images and emotions in your mind.

How long is an RTT Session?
An RTT therapy session is 1.5 to 2 hours long. It is best to block out 2 hours in your diary so that you will not feel rushed.

What does it feel like to be hypnotised?
Clients describe hypnosis as a feeling of deep relaxation and self-awareness. Some report a floating feeling, and almost all clients report that they feel 'lighter', as if a weight has been lifted from their shoulders, as soon as they come out of hypnosis.

What if I cannot be hypnotised?
Hypnosis is a relaxed state where the brain produces Alpha brain waves. Twice a day, we pass through Alpha brain waves naturally; when we are about to fall asleep and when we first wake up and it is a natural state to be in when practising meditation. Very often, clients do not realise they have been hypnotised during a session, until they come out of hypnosis.
Will I be out of control whilst in hypnosis?
No. You have complete control the whole time, and you will actively participate in 3/4 of the session. You will be able to talk, ask questions, move your body, use a tissue, and take a drink of water.
If you need to have a comfort break, we can stop the session and restart it once you have used the facilities.
If our online video call gets disconnected you may find that you drift into a short sleep, but eventually you will come back to an awareness where you will realise that you can no longer hear my voice. When this happens, you can open your eyes and reconnect to the video call using the video link in the booking email.
How does it work?
When in hypnosis, the brain produces a lot of Alpha brain waves which are a bridge between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. This connection facilitates access to the subconscious mind which will assist you to identify memories that are the root, the reason and the cause of your issue. The great thing is that once you get to the cause of the issue, you have the choice to let go of the negative emotions and beliefs which are holding you back, allowing you to create a life you want.

Do you do regression?
Yes. I always encourage clients to go back to 3 scenes or memories that are the root, the reason, and the cause of the issue.

What if my mind doesn't recall 3 memories?
Just relax and let your subconscious mind do all the work to locate the memories during the therapy session. Your subconscious mind knows exactly which memories to bring up and will pop them into your head at the perfect moment. If you find it difficult to relax enough to produce Alpha brainwaves which are a gateway to the subconscious, I will give you a relaxation recording to listen to for a week, and we can re-book the RTT session. There are plenty of tools in my toolbox to help you to let go of negative emotions and beliefs even if your mind does not recall 3 memories.

I'm worried I will go back to a scene that is traumatic
When revisiting scenes or memories from the past, I encourage clients to review the scenes as if they are seeing them on a screen like a movie. Because the mind is in hypnosis, the sympathetic nervous system is not triggered to produce the stress response, and the client is able to objectively look at the emotions, beliefs, meanings and interpretations of the memories and to release the negative emotions associated therein.

What if there is something I am not comfortable talking about?
On occasions, a client may have a memory of an event that they may feel uncomfortable talking about. This does not mean that we cannot work with the memory. My approach is non-judgmental (see my testimonials), and we can still investigate the emotions, beliefs, meanings and interpretations without the client divulging the details.

Is it effective online?
Yes. In some cases, it is more effective online simply because the client is in their own familiar surroundings and is able to relax into the session straight away, without the stress of travelling to and from the clinic.

What happens after the session?
You will need to listen to your bespoke Transformation Recording for at least 21 days, to wire in the positive changes in your thinking. You will always leave the session feeling empowered through phenomenal understanding and subsequent freedom. Most clients say that they feel lighter when they come out of hypnosis. Be kind and pamper yourself after your session, and drink plenty of water.

When will I start to see changes?
Every person is different. You will see changes in one of the 3 following ways:
Immediate: You may have a lightbulb moment during your session which has a positive and beneficial change from that moment forwards.
Incremental: You notice small changes at regular intervals over time.
Retroactive: You don’t notice the changes andand then one day
you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in
your life.

What ages do you work with?
I work with clients who are 18 years and older.

Are the sessions confidential?
Yes absolutely. I work within the Professional Code of Ethics and any disclosed material will be kept in accordance with this code. All records are stored in compliance with the latest GDPR guidelines.
